LINERASE COLLAGEN is characterised by:

- NAME: LINERASE COLLAGEN
- COMPOSITION: Heterologous collagen type I (HTIC): 100 mg heterologous collagen type I in sterile, pyrogen-free powder form. Sterile 0.9% saline solution: 5 ml of sterile 0.9% saline solution (NaCl) for reconstituting the powder.
- PRESENTATION: 1 x 100mg.
- INDICATIONS: Highly effective in regenerating and reconstructing skin defects, treating scars, stretch marks, superficial fine wrinkles, reducing skin laxity and improving the elasticity and density of the face and entire body.
- INJECTION DEPTH: The recommended injection depth for LINERASE COLLAGEN varies according to the anatomical area treated and the type of skin. According to the manufacturer's official guidelines, the intradermal injection technique involves the use of fine needles (30G-32G, 4 mm in length) and insertion of the needle at an angle of 30-45° to the skin surface. The micro-papule technique is commonly used, with approximately 0.1 mL of product per papule, spaced 2-3 cm apart.
The specific depth of the injection depends on the area treated:
- Face and thin-skinned areas (e.g. eyelids, neck): 1-2 mm deep.
- Areas with thicker skin (e.g. cheeks, back, body): up to 3-4 mm deep.
- DURATION: Initial protocol: 4 treatment sessions, 2 weeks apart. Maintenance treatment: 1 session every 2 months to maintain the results obtained. The benefits of treatment with LINERASE COLLAGEN can last from 12 to 18 months, depending on the skin condition and the patient's individual characteristics. To maintain the results, it is recommended to perform periodic maintenance sessions, generally every 6-12 months.

LINERASE COLLAGEN is a biorevititalising agent used in aesthetic medicine for skin regeneration. Its main areas of application include:
- Face: to improve skin elasticity and firmness, reduce fine wrinkles and improve skin texture.
- Neck and décolleté: to treat flabby skin and improve tone.
- Hands: to counteract the signs of ageing and improve the appearance of the skin.
- Abdomen: especially after pregnancy or significant weight loss, to improve skin firmness.
- Inner thighs and arms: to treat flabby skin and improve elasticity.

Heterologous collagen type I (HTIC): a purified and soluble form of collagen of equine origin, used to stimulate the production of new collagen in the skin. For use, the product is reconstituted with a sterile saline solution (NaCl 0.9%) immediately prior to application.

- Always check the expiry date and the integrity of the bottle before use.
- Reconstitute the product with 5 ml sterile 0.9% saline solution immediately before application.
- Use 30 G needles with a length of 4 mm for intradermal injections.
- Ensure that the treatment area is thoroughly disinfected and that aseptic techniques are followed during administration.
- Informed patient consent, providing clear information on indications, contraindications, potential side effects and expected results.
- Avoid taking aspirin or vitamin C in the week prior to treatment, as they may affect coagulation or the inflammatory response.
- After treatment, monitor the patient for any adverse reactions and provide instructions on how to manage them.
- Avoid application to areas of the skin recently exposed to sunburn or intense sun exposure.

The use of LINERASE COLLAGEN is contraindicated in the following cases:
- Under 18 years of age.
- Pregnancy and lactation.
- Allergy or hypersensitivity to equine collagen.
- Avoid use on areas with active skin inflammation.
- In the presence of haemorrhagic disorders or in treatment with anticoagulants, the use of LINERASE COLLAGEN is contraindicated.
- Use of immunosuppressive drugs: Concomitant use with drugs that suppress the immune system may increase the risk of infections and complications.
- Tendency to form hypertrophic or keloid scars: In patients with a predisposition to abnormal scar formation, use of the product is not recommended.
- Do not apply to skin with injuries, abrasions or irritation.
- In the presence of uncontrolled diabetes, the use of LINERASE COLLAGEN is contraindicated.
